On this website it'll be possible to actually use various tools to allow you different types of readings of the first part of My Brilliant Friend, a novel by Elena Ferrante. The aim of this is to actually produce a further understanding of the fictional friendship between Lila and Lenù and the network between them and the district in which they are born. It also offers the possibility to contextualize in time the events happening in the book, to further undertsand the timeline of events as they happen in the book.
The purpose of this web site is to explore various textual analysis tools on the first part (Infanzia: Storia di Don Achille) of the book My Brilliant Friend end-of-course project for the "Digital Text in the Humanities:Theories, Methodologies and Applications" course of the Master Degree in Digital Humanities and Digital Knowledge of the University of Bologna, under prof. Tiziana Mancinelli.
